Chapter 22: The Truth Jin, annoyed at his current job situation was finally able to drive home. He was exhausted. Night shift was a killer, but it was all he had currently. Chapter 20: First Blood Velvet was escorted by Asmodeus down into the basement that was distinctly less decorated than above. It was damp and cold here, and led lights lined the walls to illuminate the cement tunnels. Everything was still relatively clean, however, but Velvet knew that it wouldn't last very long if this was the life of everyone that came down here. There were large rooms without doors every few feet where other hell hounds were waiting or working out. At first their gazes were stern and angry, but when they saw Velvet and Asmodeus, their expressions turned to that of shock, surprise, confusion, or remained apathetic. Velvet wasn't sure if it was because of her height that everyone seemed so fixated on, or because of the giant thing walking with her sporting a permanent grin. Chapter 18: Sticky Situation In front of the apartments was a tremendous wine-red limousine with a sharp rear and front. The back was adorned with three colored feathers in vertical positioning. The whole vehicle looked like it was leaning forward, and the six rear wheels seemed to move despite being immobile, hurting Velvet’s eyes.
